The sustainable supplier management of the STEVIA GROUP.

Sustainable supplier management or “Sustainable Supply Chain Management” is a key factor in the STEVIA GROUP’s partnership with suppliers.

Our claim is to offer our customers the highest possible product safety as well as service and product quality. We achieve this together with our suppliers. The supplier agreements contain clear rules for the fulfilment of social, ecological and economic standards.

They are the basic prerequisite for a reliable cooperation with our suppliers and create clarity and transparency. It is our goal that all our suppliers sign the Code of Conduct. A defined auditing process ensures compliance.

Code of Conduct for Suppliers

The STEVIA GROUP has a special responsibility towards our customers and the company when selecting suppliers.

STEVIA GROUP is committed to adherence to ethical principles and practices a responsible supplier management. The Code of Conduct sets out these principles for suppliers and is based on:

International Labor Organization

An International Labor Organization for Labor and Social Standards of the United Nations. It aims to ensure minimum standards for all people worldwide and rights at work and decent work.

UN Human Rights Declaration

Declaration of Human Rights pursuant to Resolution 217 A (III) of 10.12.1948. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), also Declaration of Human Rights or UN Human Rights Charter.
These are non-binding recommendations of the United Nations on the general principles of human rights: “All men are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”

UN Rio Declaration on Environment and Development

At the 1992 United Nations Summit on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development was adopted. This contains 27 principles on legislation, politics, economics and science that countries need for sustainable development and environmental protection.

UN Global Compact

The most important and largest global initiative for responsible corporate governance is the UN Global Compact. Based on 10 principles on working conditions, combating corruption, human rights and environmental protection, the vision pursues a sustainable global economy.
